The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team completed day one at the St. Joseph's Invitational in Philadelphia on Saturday, with several players advancing on to Sunday play.

Senior Joseph Brown advanced to the semifinals of the consolation of flight 1, while Michael Fleming also advanced to the consol semis in flight two. Andrew Watson will compete in the consol semis of flight three, while Grant Perry will compete in flight four.

In doubles, Fleming and Moses Hutchison will compete in the flight one consol finals, while Watson and Priyan DeSilva advance to the flight two consol finals. 

The event will conclude on Sunday.
