#26 UMW Men's Tennis Falls to #1 Emory, 9-0, on Saturday

The #26 University of Mary Washington men's tennis team fell to #1 Emory University, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon on senior day at the Battleground Complex. The Eagles slip to 15-9 on the season.

In doubles action, Emory held a 3-0 advantage. Derek Hagino and David Lunding-Johansson fought a close match at the three spot, falling 9-8 (1).

The Eagles also struggled to find a victory in singles matches. In the four spot, freshman Matt Miles took his opponent to three sets but fell shy.

The Eagles are back in action on Sunday as they host #28 Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. in the regular season finale.
