YORK, Pa. -- Mary Washington senior Evan Charles was named the CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for Sept. 24, 2014.

Mary Washington senior Evan Charles was awarded as the CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week after going undefeated in three matches against Division I foes at the George Mason Invitational last weekend. Charles downed Nick Barker of GMU, 6-3, 7-5, Louis Tonon of UMBC, 6-1, 6-0, and Elliott Loubatie of Mount St. Mary's, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. He also teamed with Tyler Carey for a win in doubles over Mount St. Mary's. Charles is 5-0 in singles play this fall.
