Mary Washington sophomore Scott Buie was named CAC Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to three wins last week, including a 9-0 win over No. 36 Washington & Lee. Buie went undefeated on the week, winning 6-0, 6-3 at No.1 singles against Frostburg State and 7-6, 6-1 at No. 6 singles against Washington & Lee. He and Nolan Perugini won at No.2 doubles against Frostburg State, 8-0, and at No. 1 doubles against Southern Virginia, 8-2. Buie is now 10-3 on the year in singles and 7-4 in doubles play.

Mary Washington opened CAC competition with shutout wins over Frostburg State and Southern Virginia last Friday ...Salisbury's Eric Spangler was perfect in two matches last week, helping Salisbury to a 9-0 win against Penn State Abington before being responsible for two of SU's points in a 6-3 loss to No. 40 Chapman on Sunday. Spangler remains perfect on the season at 8-0 in both singles and doubles.
