The 19th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team defeated Salisbury University, 6-3, and St. Mary's College, 9-0, on Wednesday at the Battleground. The Eagles improve to 18-3 on the season.
The Eagles started strong against Salisbury, winning all three doubles matches, before splitting the six singles matches. The Eagles took singles wins from Tyler Carey at one, Eric Hurwitz at four, and Andrew Curtis at six.
UMW then swept St. Mary's, 9-0, to remain unbeaten in CAC action and gain their 18th win of the season.
The Eagles will return to action next Tuesday when they visit Christopher Newport at 4:00 pm.
