UMW Men Up to #15 in ITA National Poll for May 1; Women Hang at #21

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team moved up one spot to 15th in the nation in the May 1 national Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll. The Eagle women stayed put at #21 in the nation.

The men moved up one spot this week, ahead of Bowdoin, who fell from #12 to 16. The Eagles are fourth in the Atlantic South region. Junior CAC Player of the Year Tyler Carey is sixth in the region in singles, while Evan Charles is 21st and Stratton Gilmore 22nd. In doubles, Charles and Carey are ranked third in the region for the third straight poll.

The women are 21st in the nation and sixth in the Atlantic South. Senior CAC Player of the Year Lindsay Raulston moved up to sixth in the region in singles, with Shelby Harris ranking 18th. That duo is ranked first in the region in doubles.
