The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team was well represented on day one of the NCAA Division III Individual tournaments on Thursday, Tyler Carey participated in the singles championship, and Carey and Evan Charles played in doubles action.

Carey, facing eighth seeded Oliver Lutsenko of Skidmore, fell 6-3, 6-4. Carey and Charles then fought to three sets against the fourth seed, Eric Klawitter and Chris Krimbill, of Case Western Reserve, before falling, 7-5, 3-6, 6-1.
