Starting Thursday, University of Mary Washington tennis stars Tyler Carey and Lindsay Raulston will begin play at the NCAA Division III national singles championships in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Raulston is seeded seventh for the championship, UMW's first seed in the championship since 2009. She will face Oerlin College's Farah Leclercq in the first round.

Carey will face fourth-seeded Ryan Ybarra of the University of Texas-Tyler in first round play.
