#21 UMW Men's Tennis Falls to Division I George Mason, 7-0

The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Division I George Mason University on Sunday evening at the UMW Indoor Tennis Center. The Eagles won one of three doubles matches, and were swept in singles play.

In doubles, reigning All-Americans Donato Rizzolo and Evan Charles won at one, 9-8 (4) to Jimmy Davis and Scott Keaton. The number two duo of Tyler Carey and Kaleb Nguyen fell, 8-4, as did Alex Blakhin and Marcel Rengifo at three doubles.

The Patriots swept all six singles matches, with Blakhin at one singles advancing to three sets before falling, 6-4, 6-7 (6), 10-6, and freshman David Lunding-Johansson falling, 6-3, 0-6, 6-1.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, February 15 when they host Vassar College at 9 a.m. and Case Western Reserve at 3 p.m.
