UMW Men's Swimming Finishes Day 2 of NJAC Championships

The Mary Washington men's swim team finished Day 2 of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday night in College Park, Md.

Jonathan Zimmer placed fifth in the 200-yard IM (1:51.66), while Eli Polovchik placed 21st in the 50-yard freestyle (21.80) and Zack Cherry finished 23rd (22.84)

In the 500 free, Logan Dewalt was the lone Eagles to compete, finishing 14th (4:44.70).

In the 400-yard medley relay, the Eagles finished seventh as Will Burkey (back), Aidan Deege (breast), Zimmer (fly) and Dewalt (free) finished in 3:26.34.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday for Day 3 of the NJAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
