The Mary Washington men's and women's swim teams were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) of America's Scholar All-American Team for their performance in the clasroom during the Fall of 2023.

In order to qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to exhibit exceptional grade point averages during the Fall 2023 semester. 

The women's team drew a 3.16 GPA in the fall semester with 29 participants on the team, while the men's team had a 3.32 collective GPA with 28 total participants in the Fall 2023 semester.

The Eagles were two of 783 teams from 461 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2023 semester. These teams, representing a total of 18,716 student-athletes, were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance during the specified semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 595 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above, earning eligibility for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

The women's team finished their dual meet season 6-2, while the men finished 4-4. The Eagles are back in action on Feb. 15-18 in College Park, Md. for the NJAC Championships. Tickets for the conference championship meet and more information can be found: HERE.
