Mary Washington Men's Swimming Handles Business at Yellow Jacket Invitational

The Mary Washington men's swim team had no trouble handling its opponents in the Yellow Jacket Invitational, placing first out of the six teams at the meet in Chesterfield, Va.

The Eagles outscored second-place Randolph-Macon, 1484.5-943.5.

Individual:

Logan DeWalt finished first in the 1,000 yard free (10:13.15) and the 1650 yard free (17:02.89), and second in the 100 yard breast (1:00.47).

Johnathan Zimmer placed first in the 200 yard breast (2:10.82).

Conrad Tan finished first in the 200 yard backstroke (2:00.27) and the 200 yard IM (1:58.81).

Darl Everett placed second in the 100 yard free (47.73).

Zach Cherry placed third in the 100 yard free (48.27) and the 100 yard breast (1:00.84).

Relays:

DeWalt, Cherry, Guenter Kryszon, and Jakob Robinette took home first place in the 200 yard free relay (1:26.40).

Zimmer, Eli Polovchik, Robinette and Everett placed first in the 400 yard relay (3:12.08).

Kryszon, Robinette, Cherry and Will Burkey finished first in the 800 yard free relay (7:09.29).

Paul DaTovech, Aidan Degee, Larry Almariento and Everett took home the gold in the 400 yard medley relay (3:31.67)
