UMW Men's Swimming in 2nd Place After Day One at F&M Invite

The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team stands in second place among 10 schools after one day of events at the Franklin & Marshall College Invitational in Lancaster, Pa. The Eagles have posted 375.5 points, behins only host F&M, who has 447 points through nine events.

In the 500 yard freestyle, Kolin Hoffman finished second, at 4:40.58, and Austin Farrar took third, at 4:44.53. Noah Carpenter finished fourth in the 200 individual medley at 1:53.21, and the 200 yard freestyle relay (Brian Harnish, Matthew Scott, Sam McKey, and Garrett Ross) took second, at 1:23.62. 

The meet will continue through the weekend.
