University of Mary Washington junior Jeffrey Leckrone cut nearly a full second off of his seed time in swimming to a time of 1:56.37 in the 200 yard individual medley prelims at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday morning in Indianapolis. Leckrone finished in 46th place in the event.
Leckrone will look toward swimming in the 100 yard breaststroke on Friday, in which he is seeded 28th, and the 200 yard breaststroke on Saturday, in which he is seeded 12th.
