UMW Men's Swimming Falls at York, 139-123

The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team dropped a 139-123 decision at York College of Pa. on Saturday to close the regular season.

Sophomore Austin Farrar picked up the Eagles' first victory in the 200 yard freestyle, finishing at 1:46.00, with a season best time. Sophomore Mark Dye won the 100 breaststroke at 1:00.00, eclipsing his season best, while Kenyon Huber-Wilker took second at 1:00.29. The Eagles finished 2-3-4 in the 50 freestyle, and freshman Brian Harnish won the 100 freestyle at 48.78.

Huber-Wilker then won the 200 breaststroke at 2:12.94, and the Eagles followed by finishing 2-3-4 in the 500 free and the 100 butterfly. Junior Jeffrey Leckrone won the 200 IM at 1:59.08, eclipsing the two minute mark for the first time this season.

The Eagles will be back in action on February 23-25 at the CAC Championships at St. Mary's College.
