UMW Men's Swimming Splits Dual-Dual Meet with Johns Hopkins, F&M

The University of Mary Washington men's swim team split its Friday dual-dual meet with Johns Hopkins University and Franklin & Marshall College, topping the Diplomats, 156-105, and falling to the Blue Jays, 186.5-72.5.

Freshman Garrett Ross took top honors in the 50 yard freestyle, touching first at 22.27 seconds. UMW finished second in the 200 medley relay (1:38.00), and gained second place finishes from Austin Farrar in the 1000 free at 10:09.14, Dallas Tarkenton in the 200 butterfly at 2:00.67, and the 200 free relay at 1:28.46.
