UMW Men's Swimmers in Solid Second Place After Day One at Gettysburg Invite

The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team started day one of the Gettysburg Invitational with several outstanding swims, and stand in second place heading into day two, just 16 points out of first place.

Sophomore Kenyon Huber-Wilker finished in first place in the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:05.68, followed in second by teammate Jeffrey Leckrone at 2:09.30. Junior Dallas Tarkenton took first in the 200 yard butterfly at 1:53.66, followed in second by Nate Hartt at 1:54.67.

Senior Zach Eisig finished first in the mile, at 16:22.01, and the 400 yard freestyle relay finished second at 3:07.93.

The Invitational will continue on Saturday.
