The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team defeated Catholic University, 139-123, on Saturday in Washington, D.C. The Eagles move to 1-1 on the season.

Winners for the Eagles included the 200 medley relay of Sean Mayer, Vance Solseth, Nate Hartt, and Matthew Garstka, at 1:39.07; Solseth in the 200 freestyle at 1:50.72; Jeffrey Leckrone in the 100 yard breaststroke at 1:03.12; Jake Schroth in the 100 freestyle at 50.15; Kenyon Huber-Wilker in the 200 breaststroke at 2:15.29; Zach Eisig in the 500 freestyle at 5:01.13; and Ricardo Bonilla-Vazquez at 54.14.

The Eagles will return to action on October 30 when they visit Frostburg State University at 6:00 p.m.
