Mary Washington senior Alex Anderson was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the third time this year after winning a pair of individual races and contributing to two winning relays as the Eagles topped Salisbury on Saturday. To start things off, the 200 yard medley relay of Sean Mayer, Kenyon Huber-Wilker, Anderson, and Matt Garstka swam to a time of 1:37.12. Anderson won the 200 butterfly at 1:49.98, 20 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher, and then finished first in the 200 breaststroke at 2:06.92. The Eagles closed the day with a win in the 200 free relay, as Anderson, Mayer, Solseth, and Garstka touched out at 1:27.31.

Mary Washington opened the spring semester with a 188-74 win over Salisbury on Saturday at Goolrick Natatorium to improve to 5-2 on the season. Anderson and Zach Eisig both won multiple individual races to pace the Eagles ... Marymount competed in an unscored competition with Truman State on Jan. 5 ... Okan Eyigor (200 backstroke) and Will Gough (50 freestyle) earned wins for Salisbury against Mary Washington.
