The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team wrapped up its regular season with a tri-meet victory over Capital Athletic Conference foes Frostburg State University and Marymount University on Saturday at Goolrick Natatorium. The Eagles enter the CAC Championships in three weeks with an 8-4 regular season record.
Winners for the Eagles included Zach Eisig in the 1000 yard freestyle at 10:01.33; Chris Cassingham in the 200 freestyle at 1:47.63; Kenyon Huber-Wilker in the 100 yard breaststroke at 58.69 and the 200 breaststroke at 2:13.67; Sam Maranto in the 200 butterfly at 2:13.34; Vance Solseth in the 50 freestyle at 22.20 and the 100 free at 49.13; Anthony Stephens in the 200 backstroke at 1:57.44; Tyler Gimple in the 500 freestyle at 4:58.89; Christian Berardo in the 100 fly at 53.71; and Alex Anderson in the 200 IM at 1:51.46.
The Eagles will return to the pool on February 20 when they visit St. Mary's College for the Capital Athletic Conference Championships.
