UMW Men's Swimmers Top Randolph-Macon in Saturday Dual Meet

The University of Mary Washington men's swim team topped Randolph-Macon College, 104-97, on Saturday in Ashland, Va. The Eagles improve to 3-2 on the season.

The Eagles opened the meet by placing 1-2 in the 200 medley relay. Sean Mayer, Kenyon Huber-Wilker, Dallas Tarkenton, and Alex Anderson took first at 1:38.11. Zach Eisig won the 1000 freestyle at 10:15.18, and Chris Cassignham took first in the 200 freestyle at 1:50.15. Anderson won the 200 backstroke at 1:54.94, and Tyler Gimple won the 500 free at 4:58.28. The 400 free relay of Anderson, Eisig, Gimple, and Dylan Gore took first at 3:14.65.

The Eagles will swim at home next Saturday against Howard University at 1 p.m.
