Mary Washington junior ALEX ANDERSON (Vienna, Va./James Madison) was selected as the CAC Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week for Nov. 26, 2013. Anderson secured a pair of individual wins with NCAA ‘B’ cut times against top-tier competition at the Gettysburg Invitational last weekend, notching victories in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly to help the Eagles to a third-place team finish. In the 200 butterfly, Anderson posted a season-best time of 1:50.44, which ranks first in the CAC and second in the nation.
