Three UMW Swimmers Qualify for NCAA Championships

Fredericksburg, Va.-- Three Mary Washington swimmers, one male and two females, qualify to participate in the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships. This years championships will be held from March 19-22 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, IN. 

Amber Kerico and Jessica Singer each qualified for three events. Kerico will compete in the 200 and 100 breast, as well as the 100 fly. Singer will be in three freestlye events (1650, 200, 500). 

Defending national champion Alex Anderson will defend his 400 IM gold in Indianapolis. Anderson will also compete in the 200 IM and 200 Fly. he currently is seeded second in the 200 IM, just two tenths behind number one, and number one in the 200 fly.
