Gimple Earns CAC Player of the Week Honors

YORK, Pa. -- The Capital Athletic Conference announced its Nov. 12, 2013, weekly award winners:

MEN'S SWIMMING

Mary Washington freshman TYLER GIMPLE (Charlottesville, Va./St. Anne's-Belfield) was selected as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Nov. 12, 2013 after capturing two events for the Eagles in their non-conference dual meet victory over Randolph-Macon. Gimple won the 1000 freestyle in 10:09.89, a full 23 seconds ahead of second place, and also claimed the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:56.51.
