UMW Swim Teams Fall at Division I William & Mary

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams dropped a dual meet at Division I College of William and Mary on Friday night in Williamsburg. Both teams fall to 1-1 on the year. The women fell 205-56, while the men fell 207-54.

Winners for the Eagles included sophomore Alex Anderson in the 200 yard freestyle at 1:42.97, and Amber Kerico in the 100 yard breaststroke at 1:09.77. Second place finishes went to Stephanie Hallock in the 50 freestyle at 25.38, Nick Eckhoff in the 100 yard freestyle at 48.89, Kerico in the 200 breastsroke at 2:29.80, Hannah Hagy in the 100 butterfly at 1:01.26, and Anderson in the 100 butterfly at 50.90.

The Eagles will return to action on October 19 when they visit Washington & Lee University at 6:00 p.m.
