UMW Swim Teams Sweep Past Salisbury, Marymount
The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams remained unbeaten in Capital Athletic Conference action by sweeping a dual meet at Marymount from the Saints as well as Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon. The Eagle women topped the Saints, 129-75, and beat Salisbury, 138-67, while the UMW men defeated Marymount, 158-42, and Salisbury, 133-72.

Winners for the women included the 200 yard medley relay (1:54.24); Lindsay Ancellotti in the 1000 freestyle (11:15.66); Jessica Singer in the 200 freestyle (2:00.27); Adriana Lesiuk in the 50 freestyle (25.58); Megan DeSmit in the 200 IM (2:17.82); Kelly Scott in the 100 butterfly (1:02.85); and Cameron Figuers in the 500 freestyle (5:23.72).

The men saw wins from the 200 medley relay (1:38.90); Brad Dunn in the 1000 freestyle (10:30.40); Jack McHugh in the 200 freestyle (1:51.74); Nick Eckhoff in the 200 IM (2:01.74); Stephen Clendenin in the 100 butterfly (54.06); Austin Clark in the 100 freestyle (48.75); Andrew Garafolo in the 500 free (5:01.25); and Peter Slattery in the 100 breast (1:02.62).
The wins improve the women's record to 9-1 overall and the men's to 7-2. Final results from the races will be added later this evening.

Mary Washington will host Gettysburg College next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
