University of Mary Washington junior Josh Kirkland (Richmond, Va.) was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team, gaining second team honors.
Kirkland gained C2C Offensive Player of the Year after leading the Eagles with seven goals and two assists in 17 contests. Four of Kirkland's scores were game winners, coming against Shenandoah, Lynchburg, Catholic, and St. Mary's. All but one of his scores were the first of the game for the Eagles, with the other being his second goal of the game in a 2-0 win over Catholic.
