Offensive Player of the Week

Mary Washington sophomore Daniel Kalke earned CAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after registering a hat trick in the span of less than eight minutes as No. 20 Mary Washington opened the CAC slate with a 6-0 victory over Marymount on Saturday. After subbing in with 14 minutes remaining in the half, Kalke scored at 33:23 on a Jacob Lovinger assist, and again two minutes later on a Ryan Van Maanen pass. After a hand ball in the box at 41:09, Kalke connected on the penalty kick, giving the Eagles a 5-0 lead at halftime.

St. Mary's senior Zack Haussler was named CAC Defensive Player of the Week after recording his 16th career shutout with four saves to lead St. Mary's to a CAC-opening win over Penn State Harrisburg in its only game of the week. Haussler is now tied as the school's all-time leader in career shutouts.

Christopher Newport freshman Davis Pillow scored the game-winning goal in double overtime at York ... Frostburg State senior Jonathan Lippitt scored the game-winning goal for the Bobcats as they opened CAC action with a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Wesley ... Juwan Kearson lifted St. Mary's to a CAC-opening 1-0 win over Penn State Harrisburg with his third goal of the season in the 65th minute ... Salisbury junior goalkeeper Trevor Brookhart played all 180 minutes in two wins for the Sea Gulls last week, making a pair of saves while surrendering just one goal. Junior transfer Nick Njuki scored his first career goal and added an assist in the 5-1 victory over Southern Virginia in the conference opener ... Southern Virginia senior Matt Diede headed in the only goal of the CAC opener against Salisbury from a corner kick to give the Knights the lead in the first half ...
