UMW Men's Soccer Falls at Stockton, 3-0, on Saturday Night

The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at Stockton University on Saturday evening. The Eagles, who had allowed just one goal in its first five contests, falls to 5-1 on the season.

Stockton opened the scoring in the 19th minute, on a goal from Anthony Colofranson, and grabbed momentum for good with a score with 20 seconds left in the first half by Jeff Tanski. The Osprey added a third score in the final seconds to move the final to 3-0.

Stockton led in shots, 17-11, and the Eagles led in corner kicks, 8-5. Sophomore goalie Matt Spencer had five saves in goal for Mary Washington.

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday when they host North Carolina Wesleyan College at 7:00 p.m. on the campus recreation turf field.
