UMW Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision at Frostburg in CAC Action

The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 decision at Frostburg State University on Tuesday in Frostburg, Md. The Bobcats scored the lone goal with less than four minutes remaining in regulation.

In a game that saw the Eagles lead in shots, 15-9, and in corner kicks, 6-5, it was the Bobcats who found the lone goal of the day, from Brett Basham on a Mitchell Muise assist at 86:28.

UMW senior Tyler Back returned to action in goal for the Eagles, making four saves, while Frostburg's Hassan Mostafa had seven saves.

The Eagles (4-6-2 overall, 1-2 CAC) will be back in action on Saturday when they host CAC rival York College of Pa. at 2:00 p.m.
