Eagles Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision at #20 Salisbury in CAC Action

The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at #20 Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon action in Capital Athletic Conference play. The Eagles fall to 4-5-2 overall, and 1-1 in league play.

The Sea Gulls scored the lone goal at 30:30, as Michael Feeney scored on a Nicholas McCrea assist.

The Sea Gulls held a 12-8 shot advantage, and had seven corner kicks to two for the Eagles. Freshman goalie Matt Spencer had three saves for the Eagles, while Drew Staedeli had three stops for Salisbury.

Mary Washington will return to action on Tuesday when they visit Frostburg State University at 5:00 p.m. in another CAC battle.
