UMW Men's Soccer Falls at #8 Ohio Wesleyan, 2-0

The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at eighth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday night in Delaware, Ohio. The Eagles fall to 1-1-1 on the season.

The Eagles held their own against the Bishops, as both teams had 13 shots. But Ohio Wesleyan found the nets once in each half, on goals from Taylor Rieger at 31:03 and Mason Hoge at 67:31.

The Eagles led in corner kicks, 6-5. Senior goalie Tyler Back had four saves for the Eagles, while Ben Farynowski had three for Ohio Wesleyan.

Mary Washington will face Case Western Reserve on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
