Kelly Lifts UMW Men's Soccer to 1-0 Win at Previously Unbeaten Frostburg

Freshman Patrick Kelly scored the game's only goal in the 76th minute on an assist from Tanner Carlton to lift the University of Mary Washington men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at previously undefeated Frostburg State University on Saturday afternoon. UMW moves to 9-5-1 overall and 2-2 in CAC play.

The Eagles led in shots, 13-8, while each team had six corner kicks. UMW sophomore goalie Tyler Back had one save in nets for the Eagles.

Mary Washington will be back in action on Wednesday when they host St. Mary's College in a CAC match starting at 4:00 p.m.
