UMW Men's Soccer Falls at St. Mary's

The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team tasted defeat for the first time in Capital Athletic Conference action this season in a 3-0 loss at St. Mary's College on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles fall to 5-5-2 overall and 3-1-1 in league play.

The Seahawks scored in the 11th minute, and followed with goals in the 50th and 73rd minutes for insurance. St. Mary's led in shots, 18-11, and in corner kicks, 4-2. Mary Washington freshman Tyler Back made four saves for the Eagles.

The Eagles will return to conference play on Saturday when they visit York College of Pa. at 3:00 p.m.
