Mens rugby traveled to kutztown today to play in another 7s tournament. The pressure was off though as UMW qualified for the National championships after winning our own tournament. This meant the team could try new combinations and plays and get ready for the CRC's.

The first game was against Mount st Mary's and again the sting UMW defense kept the opposition out for most of the game only giving up one score. Our offence on the other hand was a little slow coming together and only got going in the second half final score 36-5. The second game of day saw us the on the hosts Kutztowns b side. Again UMWs defence worked hard and keept a clean sheet for the game. And again the UMW offensive found it hard to find gaps and pull away. But good defensive leading to mistakes from Kutztown saw UMW put 21 points on the board. The last few games of the day and the final ware unfortunately called off due to lightning.
