UMW rugby travelled to a cold and rainy Baltimore to play Siena college at a neutral venue. Despite the conditions the Mothers were off to a quick start thanks to a breakaway try from Lloyd Stephens followed by a simple conversion from Sebastian Schefferman. Following numerous errors from sienna the mothers capitalised and found themselves up 21-0 at half. This gave coach Dunbar the freedom to give all members of the match day squad minutes and gain valuable game time. A few more tries from UMW went unanswered until the shutout was broken near the end of the game. Final score 45-14, notable performances from Andrew Rudisill, Lloyd Stephens and William Lindsay.
