University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse goalie Wyatt Martin has been named as the Coastal Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of April 8.

Martin collects CLC Defensive Player of the Week honors after a strong performance in goal as Mary Washington picked up an 11-8 win over Montclair State in conference action. He made 12 saves, including several point-blank stops and one diving save as his opponent rattled off 35 shots. Martin has logged over 682 minutes this season, putting together an 8.59 goals against average and 52.4 percent save percentage.
