Fredericksburg, Va.-- The #14 University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team came from behind in the final quarter, to win 10-8 against the Bobcats. UMW got the go-ahead goal from Luke Dick with just 3:03 remaining. The Eagles move to 11-2, 3-2 CAC on the year.

UMW got out of the gates quick, scoring the first three goals of the game. Griffin Burke got the scoring started, with a tally from John Bohlinger two minutes in. Chip Pittard struck next off a Bohlinger feed just minutes later. Luke Dick gave the Eagles a 3-0 lead with 7:38 showing on the clock. Frostburg would answer, scoring right before the horn thanks to Greg Bourne.

J.D. West scored on the opening possesion for the Eagles, increasing the advantage to 4-1. The Bobcats would answer, getting a goal Spenser Love just 13 seconds later. Mike Marson answered back with a goal to give the Eagles a 5-2 lead with 12 minutes before the break. Frostburg went on a run from there, scoring the next three goals to end the half tied with UMW 5-5.

Tate Rolland gave Frostburg their first lead of the game, scoring two minutes in. However the Eagles countered, getting tallies from Chip Pittard and John Bohlinger to take the lead. The goal for Bohlinger was his 100th career tally.

With the Eagle lead at 7-6, Frostburg again had the answer, with Love scoring to open the fourth. The Eagles and Bobcats traded goals, with Pittard scoring his third followed by Love netting his third to keep the game tied at 8-8.

The Eagles had the last laugh, getting a goal from Luke Dick with 3:03 remaining to push UMW out front. Dick would score an empty netter with 25 seconds remaining to seal the victory, 10-8.

Zack DelGrosso was stellar in between the pipes, stopping 13 shots for the Eagles in the win.

UMW returns to action on Wednesday, April 16th. The Eagles host Wesley in CAC action starting at 4:00 p.m.
