Men's Lacrosse Continues to Climb Polls; Move Up to #14 in New USILA Poll

 

The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team continues to climb in the national polls. The Eagles move to #14 in this weeks USILA Poll, up one spot from 15 last week. The #14 ranking is the highest ranking in school history for the Eagles (7-2, 0-2 CAC).

RIT remains atop the polls this week, and are a perfect 9-0 on the year. CAC rival Salisbury remains at #2 this week, following the Sea Gulls 10-7 win at Mary Washington this past Saturday. The Eagles sit at #14, up a spot from 15 last week, while other CAC opponent York dropped down to #19 after going 1-1 this past week. Frostburg State is the fourth CAC team to receive votes this week, just failing to reach the Top 20.

UMW returns to action this week on Wednesday at St. Mary's (Md.) at 4:00 p.m., and host La Roche on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
