CAC Announces Weekly Award Winners For Feb. 18, 2014

YORK, Pa. - - The Capital Athletic Conference announced its Feb. 18, 2014, weekly award winners:

MEN'S LACROSSE

Mary Washington sophomore BILLY KELLY (Reston, Va./Herndon) and York sophomore CALEB ABNEY (Forest Hill, Md./Fallston) were honored as the CAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for Feb. 18, 2014.

Kelly earned Player of the Week honors after scoring seven goals to power Mary Washington to a season-opening 18-9 victory over Hampden-Sydney on Sunday.

Abney was honored as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high 22 saves in 60:39 minutes of work as the Spartans took top-ranked Stevenson to overtime before falling on Saturday.
