UMW Men’s Golf Places Third at CAC Championship

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team placed third at the Capital Athletic Conference Championship held in Williamsburg at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Course. UMW shot a 311 on Thursday, a 295 on Friday, and a 310 on Saturday.

The Eagles were led by Phillip Manceri who finished third overall and shot a total 222, including a 72 in the final round. Sebastian Bonte finished tied for sixth with a three day total of 227, while Jason Guintu finished with a score of 231 which put him in a tie for 11th place. Robin Yu finished in 15th as he shot a total of 237 and Brendan Kelly finished at 249.
