The University of Mary Washington men's golf teams finished in fourth and seventh place at the Ted Keller Invitational in Ashland, VA on Tuesday. The fourth place team finished at +43 and the seventh place team shot +57.
After shooting a +7 on Monday, Jason Guintu had the best round of the day for the Eagles as he shot a -1 on Tuesday to finish tied for eighth place at +6. Freshman Robin Yu came in 12th place as he shot a +7 overall for the tournament.
Sebastien Bonte, Phillip Manceri, and Austin Matz all placed 19th as they shot +12 for the tournament. Ethan Kelly finished at +7 for the day and placed 23rd with a +13.
Zach Kaylor finished in 30th place with a +17, while Brendan Kelly and Luis Gavignano finished in 32nd at +19. Peyton Crickman finished in 48th at +31 overall.
Franklin & Marshall secured the win as they shot +15 over the tournament. Averett placed second at +33, and Randolph Macon came in third at +35.
The Eagles will tee it back up on Monday, October 15 as they will compete in the VSGA Intercollegiate Invitational located in Suffolk, VA.
