UMW Men's Golf Finishes Tied for 24th at NCAA Division III National Championship

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team was among those teams improving their performance on day two of the NCAA Division III national championship, as the Eagles climbed six spots to finish tied for 24th overall at +41.

The Eagles shot a two-day 617, including a +17 (312) on Wednesday. The Eagles finished in a tie with Trinity (Conn.), Southwestern, and North Carolina Wesleyan.

Individually, sophomore Jason Guintu finished the event with a two-day aggregate score of +7, tying for 68th overall. Sophomore Ethan Kelly shot a +10 to tie for 98th, and sophomore Phillip Manceri shot a +11 to tie for 108th. Freshman Sebastien Bonte shot a +13 to tie for 128th. Guintu shot a team-low +4 (76) on Wednesday.
