UMW Men's Golf Finishes Fourth at Ted Keller Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team competed at the Ted Keller Memorial Invitational in Ashland, Va., and came away with fourth place among 12 scored teams at the event, which concluded on Tuesday.

UMW was led by freshman Sebastien Bonte, who shot an even par 70 on Tuesday to end in second place at +4 overall. Sophomore Jason Guintu shot a 77 on Tuesday to finish in fourth place for the event at +7. Sophomore Philip Manceri shot a 77 on Tuesday, en route to a T16 at +13. Sophomore Ethan Kelly finished T-41 at +21, and sophomore Austin Matz finished in 53rd place at +27.

Gettysburg College won the event with a cumulative +35, followed by Franklin & Marshall College at +37, Virginia Wesleyan at +43, and UMW at +45.

The Eagles will compete at the VSGA Collegiate Championship next Monday and Tuesday.
