UMW Men's Golf Takes Second at Shenandoah Fall Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team finished in second place among 14 teams at the Shenandoah University Fall Invitational on Monday in Winchester, Va. The Eagles shot a cumulative 598, behind only first place Hampden Sydney College.

The Eagles were led by freshman Sebastien Bonte, who tied for fourth overall with a +2 total of 144. Sophomore Ethan Kelly finished tied for 11th place with a +7 149, and sophomore Jason Guintu shot a +8 150 to tie for 15th. Sophomore Phillip Manceri shot a +13 155 to tie for 32nd place, and junior Peyton Crickman shot a +21 163 to tie for 54th.

The Eagles will be back in action on October 7 at Stevenson University.
