UMW Men's Golf in 2nd Place After Day One of CAC Fall Preview at Bay Creek; Bonte in First

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team is in second place, just one shot out of first, after day one of the CAC Fall Preview at Bay Creek Resort in Cape Charles, Va.

The Eagles' 306 strokes is one shy of Christopher Newport's 305. York is third at 313, followed by Goucher at 316, Penn State Harriusburg's 338, and Southern Virginia's 361.

Freshman Sebastien Bonte is alone in first place after shooting a -1 par 71 on Monday. Sophomores Jason Guintu and Phillip Manceri are each at +6 78, and sophomore Ethan Kelly is at +7 79.

The event will conclude on Tuesday morning.
