UMW Men's Golf Remains in Second Place at CAC Championships Following Day Two

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team remained in second place after day two of the 2017 Capital Athletic Conference Championships at Bay Creek Golf Club.

The Eagles shot an aggregate 319 on Saturday, with freshman Ethan Kelly leading the way with a +2 74. Freshman Philip Manceri shot a +6 78, while Jason Guintu shot an 83 and Brendan Kelly an 84. Nathan Groner posted an 85.

Through two days, Christopher Newport leads with a total of 593, followed by the Eagles with 634 and York with 640. Wesley and Marymount are tied for fourth with 653, and Penn State Harrisburg is sixth with 671. New Jersey City is seventh with a 758.

The Championships will conclude on Sunday.
