UMW Men's Golf Ranks Second After Day One of CAC Championships; Manceri tied for Lead

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team stands in second place after one day of competition at the CAC Championships in Cape Charles, Va. at the Bay Creek Golf Club. The Eagles posted a 315, 23 shots off the pace set by first place Christopher Newport.

Freshman Phillip Manceri is part of a three-way tie for first on the individual leaderboard after an opening round of 72(E).

Freshman Ethan Kelly followed with a 79(+7), Jason Guintu shot an 80 (+8), and Brendan Kelly posted an 84(+12).

Competition will continue on Saturday.
