The University of Mary Washington men's golf team finished tied for sixth at the Marine Credit Union Collegiate Championship in Camp Lejune, N.C., on Sunday, as the team carded an 891 on the three day event, including a 308 on Sunday.

Medalist for Sunday for the Eagles was freshman Phillip Manceri with a 72. Freshman Ethan Kelly shot a 75, freshman Jason Gintu carded a 78, and freshman Brendan Kelly shot an 83.

By placing in the top 10 for the event among the 31 schools, UMW gains an automatic invite back to next year's event.

The Eagles will be back in action on April 14-16 at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships.
