The University of Mary Washington men's golf team saw four golfers post scores in the 70s on day one of the Marine Credit Union Collegiate Championship at Camp Lejune, N.C.
Freshman Phillip Manceri finished day one with a 75, amid three weather delays. Freshmen Ethan Kelly and Jason Guintu each shot a 76, and freshman Brendan Kelly shot a 79.
The Eagles were fortunate to play practice rounds with Wounded Warriors on Thursday.
The championships will continue on day two on Saturday, with the Eagles scheduled for an 8 am tee off.
